Volcon was founded on September 25, 1978 by A. W. Vollenweider. As independent insurance consultants, we provide information about the programs available from Swiss insurance companies, find the product best-fitted to your needs, prepare personalized quotations and make sure that your transactions with the insurance company run smoothly, both before and after you become a policy holder.
Our services are free of charge. We are compensated by the insurance companies. This means that the premium(s) you pay and the benefits you receive will be exactly the same regardless of whether you deal with an insurance company directly or take advantage of our services. We will also act as your Swiss representative - a Swiss insurance company requirement.
We aim at:
- keeping low profile for both the client and Volcon (no extensive mass mailings or other aggressive marketing),
- professional consulting (no quick sales)
- thorough after sales service.
Information to be provided to the prospect/client in compliance with the Swiss Insurance Law (ART. 45, VAG)
The services of Volcon are limited to the consultancy of people insurance (i.e. Swiss life and disability insurance and Swiss fixed annuities). Volcon recommends the companies listed below. It has agreements with the head offices of these companies. A single client can obtain policies from more than one company:
AXA Winterthur Life, Forces Vives, Fortuna, Generali Switzerland, Groupe Mutuel Vie, Helvetia, PAX, Schweiz. National Life, Skandia Life, Swiss Life, Vaudoise Life, Valorlife, Wealth Assurance, Zürich Life
Personal data is kept safely and dealt with confidentially. It is used for the consultancy by Volcon and for the underwriting and administration by the above mentioned insurance companies (i.e. examination of application, issuance of policies, general administration, etc.).
