Karoly Aczel is a German citizen and graduated with honors in Business Administration from University of Applied Sciences in Rosenheim, Germany in 2009. In 2007 he was presented with the Euro Manager award for exceptional achievements in his studies. Prior and during his studies he gained profound experience in a range of international, highly reputable companies both in Germany and abroad, among them in the private equity, investment banking, and the marketing industry.

After his graduation he joined a renewable energy company in Zug, Switzerland, where he was responsible for the corporate finance and performance management of the group projects. In 2010 he decided to join Volcon SA to participate and further enhance the company´s success as a Director being responsible for customer relationship management, finance and marketing. Mr. Aczel is fluent in English, German and Hungarian.

Christiano Puglia was born in Brazil, holds dual Brazilian and Italian citizenship and has also lived in Portugal before moving to Switzerland. The diversity of cultures he has experienced is also expressed in the languages he speaks – he is fluent in Portuguese, English, German, Spanish and French.

He graduated in 2006 from Business School in Zug/Switzerland and then joined an internationally known investment management firm in Zug. After two successful years in client relations at that firm, he joined Volcon in January 2009 and is also a speaker on Swiss annuities on conferences worldwide.

Christian H. Kälin is the Volcon legal advisor. An internationally known real-estate, tax and estate-planning specialist and also a partner at Henley & Partners, Zurich, he is also one of the founding partners of Verica Trust & Capital Management, Zug, an investment advisory firm. He is a member of the Board of the International Financial and Legal Network (IFLN), a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) as well as of numerous other professional organizations such as the IFA, ITPA, FIABCI, etc.

After completing Zurich Business School and his training at a Swiss private bank, he lived and studied for many years in France, the USA, New Zealand and Switzerland. A holder of a cum laude Masters degree in law from the University of Zurich, he is a frequent writer and speaker on international tax-planning and investment issues, and is regularly quoted in international and Swiss media. He is the editor and one of the co-authors of the Switzerland Business & Investment Handbook. This is the key publication on the subject, supported by the Swiss Government and many important companies, and with contributions by more than 40 leading authors covering all aspects of doing business, investing and living in Switzerland. Mr. Kälin is fluent in German, English and French.

A. W. Vollenweider is one of the most experienced specialists on Swiss annuities and the founder of Volcon.  He was born and raised in Switzerland, and following his studies in business, he lived and worked for two years in Paris and one year in London. In 1972 he started his career in insurance at the head office of PAX Life Insurance Company in Basel.

After an initial period as a special consultant for pension plans, he was then asked to set up a new department offering Swiss annuities to non-Swiss residents. After the successful set up, he served as the head of this new department until 1978 when he resigned to set up his own business. Mr. Vollenweider founded Volcon as one of the first insurance consulting businesses specialized in Swiss annuities for non-Swiss clients. In the following 30 years, he successfully built up and managed his company. During that time he and his team advised thousands of international investors. Many of them have become highly satisfied clients and friends. He also authored numerous articles on Swiss annuities and gave presentations on the subject at international conferences.

As of 2009 Mr. Vollenweider handed over the operational responsibility for the company but remains as a member of board of directors.
